Meridian Recruitment
Team

The people you will work with

Each consultant owns a technical area and follows that market continuously.

Why we exist

The company exists because of a specific frustration: hiring teams were receiving twenty profiles for a role and interviewing none of them. The work of filtering had been pushed onto the people least able to absorb it.

So we built the opposite model. We take fewer briefs, we map the market properly, and we assess every candidate ourselves before an introduction. When we send three profiles, we expect all three to be interviewed.

That approach only works with real specialisation. Our consultants cover defined technical areas, follow those markets continuously, and can hold a credible conversation with the engineers, designers and product people they approach. Generalists cannot do this, which is why we are not one.

Principles

How we decide what to do

  • Quality over volume

We measure ourselves on interview-to-offer conversion, not on submissions. Sending more is easy and worth nothing.

  • Transparency

Compensation, timelines and market reality are stated plainly, to clients and candidates, early enough to matter.

  • Specialization

Each consultant owns a technical area and follows it continuously. Depth is what makes the approach credible.

  • Long-term thinking

A placement that leaves in six months is a failure regardless of the invoice. We optimise for the eighteen-month mark.

  • Human judgement

Tooling helps us find people. It does not decide whether they are right. That assessment is made by a person, every time.
